The Neillsville Country Club is one of the most unique golf courses in the area. Our greens keeper is Sam Harder.
While it is probably more economical to mow greens with a riding greens mower, Sam firmly believes a better green can be achieved if mowed by hand. Although there are more man hours required, the results cannot be disputed; the greens are the best in a 50 mile radius.

Neillsville Country Club has had a well organized volunteer program over the years directed at course improvement. Some of the projects have included new sandtraps, cartpaths, planting and maintaining seedlings, and flower pots on each tee box. Anyone can participate Tuesday mornings from 8 to noon.
